Aromantics can be sexual, but not romantically attracted to anyone; while, asexuals can be romantic, but not sexually attracted to anyone.

Asexuals do not have any sexual urge for any gender, while aromantics do not have any romantic attraction towards any gender.

Please note that not experiencing romantic attraction is not the same thing as being asexual, which means experiencing no sexual attraction. Therefore, being aromantic is not the same as being asexual.

One of the peculiar things about aromantic people is that even though they feel no romantic attraction, they may still enjoy having sex. An aromantic person does not have to identify as asexual as they still may experience sensual and aesthetic attraction.
