The term “cassgender” is derived from “cass,” which means “indifferent,” and “gender,” which means “related to gender,” hence, “cassgender” literally means “feeling of indifference towards a gender.”
The term “cassgender” is a gender identity of the feeling of a gender that is not important to the person, and is also used to define when a person is indifferent to the idea of gender.
Cassgender is not the same as a lack of gender because cassgender people may have a gender, but they don't feel it's an important part of their gender identity.
A term that is related to cassgender is cassflux, where the level of indifference fluctuates, where a person sometimes may feel completely indifferent towards gender, but at other times it might feel more important, and gender fluctuates from being totally not important, or are indifferent to it, with a level of indifference.
