The term “cassgender” is derived from “cass,” which means “indifferent,” and “gender,” which means “related to gender,” hence, “cassgender” literally means “feeling of indifference towards a gender.”
The term “cassgender” is a gender identity of the feeling of a gender that is not important to the person, and is also used to define when a person is indifferent to the idea of gender.
Cassgender is not the same as a lack of gender because cassgender people may have a gender, but they don't feel it's an important part of their gender identity.
