The term “demiflux” is derived from “demi,” which means “half or partial,” and “flux,” which means “fluid,” hence, “demiflux” literally means “feeling of a gender that fluctuates in intensity.”
The term “demiflux” is a gender identity that has the feeling of having multiple genders, where some are static and others are fluctuating in intensity.
For instance, the static part can be female, but the other part could be male.
Demiflux is a type of genderfluidity, and is also a subset of the genderflux.
The male part can fluctuate, going from full intensity of male, half intensity of demiboy, to no intensity of agender, while the female part does not fluctuate at all.
Demiflux is similar to demigender, in which the gender is almost split or divided into two parts.
The difference between demiflux and demigender is that demiflux has a part that fluctuates, and it can also be felt in a manner that the intensity of their demigender identity fluctuates.
For instance, a female demiflux person, like a demigirl, would feel demigirl for most of the time, but it could fluctuate between agender and full demigirl, and in between the two.
Hence, there are many ways to define demiflux, it all depends on the individual.
