The term “non binary gender” is derived from “non binary,” which means “other than two,” and “gender,” which means “related to gender,” hence, “non-binary-gender” literally means “someone in between the two genders which are male and female.”

The term “N.B.” or “enby” or “non binary” is a slur or slang that is used to describe people whose gender fall somewhere in the middle of the gender spectrum, and are neither strictly male nor female, and that is outside the gender binary, and is generally used as a gender identification without further explanation.

Non-binary people may identify themselves as having two or more genders, also known as being bigender or trigender, or having no gender, also known as agender, nongendered, genderless, genderfree, or having a neutral gender, also known as gender neutrois, or moving between genders or having a fluctuating gender identity, also known as genderfluid, or being the third gender or other-gendered, that is, a category that does not put a name to their gender.
