A mixed-orientation relationship or marriage is between two people belonging to two different sexual orientations. A mixed-orientation relationship is referred to as MOR, mixed-orientation marriage is referred to as MOM. The two people involved in such a relationship or marriage may or may not be romantically or sexually compatible, such as between a heterosexual male and a homosexual female. Such a term is also applied when one of the partners involved is non-sexual and/or non-romantic, leading to a mixed desire for a sexual or romantic attraction or activity.
