What Is The Meaning Or Definition Of Pansexual / Pansexuality: The term “pansexual” is derived from “pan,” which means “all-inclusive,” and “sexual,” which means “related to sex,” hence, “pan-sexual” literally means “sexual attraction or interest in all or multiple sex or genders.” The term “pansexual” or “pansexuality” is used to describe people who, solely or primarily, experience sexual and romantic as well as emotional and aesthetic interest in, and attraction towards, individuals of all gender identities and expressions, regardless of that person’s gender, sex, or sexuality. Pansexual people might be attracted to people who are transgender, nonbinary, or cisgender. They usually feel that the gender identity of their partners is not an important deciding factor in their sexual attraction. The most important attribute of a pansexual is that they are not limited by being attracted to any one gender or another. Pansexual can fall in love with, or have a sexual attraction to people of any gender, and for them, the sexual orientation of their partner is not important. Pansexual people are quite open-minded in terms of their preferences, they don’t put a tag or label on their sexuality because they themselves may be going through a crisis about their own sexual identity. These people often refer to themselves as being “gender blind,” meaning gender and sex are not at all determining factors when it comes to their romantic or sexual attraction towards other people. Pansexuality includes all types of sexualities that can exist in any individual, and such tendencies may prevail either temporarily or occasionally, or permanently. Pansexuality is more fluid, just like bisexuality. A pansexual person can have romantic and sexual attraction not only to the traditional male and female genders, but also transgendered, androgynous, and gender-fluid people. It is a sexuality that focuses on hearts before parts, meaning they don't care too much about the person's gender. Pansexual people may refer to themselves as gender-blind, stressing the fact that gender and sex are either insignificant or irrelevant while determining their sexual attraction to others. They feel that the gender of a person should not define and dictate the love that they feel for a person. Being pansexual does not necessarily mean that the person is attracted to anyone and everyone, it just means that they don’t prefer one gender over the other. These are the people who are neither homosexual nor heterosexual, and they are also not bisexual in the real sense. Pansexuals are only attracted to other human beings regardless of their gender or sexuality, and they are open to all types, such as gays, lesbians, asexuals, aromantics, bisexuals, and transgenders. They are not attracted to non-human things, animals, etc. Pansexuals can also be referred to as omnisexual or as being gender-blind. Similar to omnisexual, pansexual people recognize all genders and do not consider gender when choosing a romantic partner.
